Library Rules & Regulations
General Rules
- All students and staff must carry their valid ID cards to enter the library.
- Silence must be maintained inside the library premises.
- Mobile phones should be kept on silent mode. Talking on the phone is strictly prohibited inside the library.
- Smoking, eating, or drinking is not allowed in the library.
- Personal belongings such as bags must be kept at the designated area.
Book Borrowing Rules
- Books can be borrowed for a period of 14 days and must be returned on or before the due date.
- Books can be renewed once, provided there is no demand for the same book by others.
- Overdue books will incur a fine of ₹1 per day per book.
- Reference books, journals, and magazines are not for issue and can only be read in the library.
- Lost or damaged books must be replaced or paid for by the borrower.
E-Library & Internet Usage
- Internet facility is for academic and research purposes only.
- Do not use library systems for accessing objectionable or unauthorized websites.
- Downloading of movies, songs, or non-academic material is not allowed.
Membership
- All students enrolled in the college are entitled to library membership.
- Membership may be suspended for those violating library rules repeatedly.
Discipline
- Library staff has the authority to take disciplinary action in case of any misconduct.
- Repeated violations may result in suspension of library privileges.
