MODEL CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS
Please read carefully. These guidelines ensure a safe, respectful, and effective learning environment for everyone.

Guidelines
- To be on time is the best way to learn. Students must arrive on time in the class and be present for the entire class period (or until dismissed). Random arrivals and exits are not allowed.
- 75% attendance is mandatory to appear in internal examination, external examination, projects, as well as practical examination as per University and DHE mandate.
- Every student must obtain, on admission, the Identity Card with his/her photograph attested and wear it whenever on the institute premises. Present it for inspection on demand.
- Institute has zero-tolerance towards ragging. Ragging is banned on campus. Anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging will be punished as per UGC and Government directives—culprits will be dismissed and a police case will be filed.
- College has zero-tolerance towards any kind of gender discrimination and sexual abuse. Any student indulging in such activities will be terminated from the college and a police complaint will be registered.
- Political activities are prohibited on campus. Students are forbidden from conducting or attending political meetings within the institute campus. Violations may result in suspension.
- Students shall wear respectable formal attire with neat hairstyles.
- Students are expected to spend free time in the library. Do not loiter in corridors or crowd passages.
- If academic performance is not satisfactory, the student may be detained and not allowed to appear for institute examinations held on behalf of the University.
- Roaming around the campus during class hours is strictly prohibited.
- Talking and other disruptive behaviours are not permitted while classes are in session. Such behaviour will be treated as indiscipline.
- Food and beverages are not permitted in computer labs or classrooms. Consume them only in designated areas.
- Institute has zero-tolerance towards smoking or any type of addiction. Smoking and consumption of alcohol on the premises—or entering after consuming alcohol—are strictly prohibited.
- Students shall do nothing, inside or outside the Institute, that interferes with its orderly conduct and discipline.
- Be polite and respectful towards teachers, staff, and fellow students.
- No society or association shall be formed in the Institute, and no person may be invited to address a meeting without prior permission of the Principal.
- No student shall collect money or contributions for picnics, trips, educational visits, get-togethers, study notes, charity, or any other activity without prior sanction of the HOD or Principal.
- Students shall not communicate information or write about matters dealing with Institute administration to the press.
- Students are expected to take proper care of Institute property and help keep the premises clean. Damaging property (disfiguring walls/doors/fittings, breaking furniture, misuse of A.C., etc.) is a breach of discipline and will be punished.
- Do not leave books, valuables, or other belongings in the classroom.
- The Institute is not responsible for lost property. Students may claim found items at the office if they are deposited there.
- Students applying for certificates/testimonials that require the Principal’s signature must first contact the respective committee in-charges or their Teacher Guardians. Do not bring papers directly to the Principal for signature.
